Understanding and Engaging 21st Century Volunteers

A Free Community Workshop

Are you trying to get more volunteers involved or are you finding it hard to keep them engaged?  This training is a one off fantastic opportunity to learn from an international volunteering expert direct from the UK.  Packed full of ideas to help you refine your volunteering practices, the workshop will help you develop successful strategies for engaging volunteers. It will explore:

  • how society's changes affect volunteerism in the 21st century
  • how to respond to new trends in volunteering
  • ways your organisation can better engage and retain volunteers.

The Workshop Facilitator

Rob Jackson has more than two decades experience working in the voluntary sector in the UK at local, regional and national levels. He worked as the Director of Development and Innovation for Volunteer UK and has overseen many strategic developments in volunteering.  Rob is passionate about helping to engage and inspire people to bring about change.
