Is your community group, organisation or club in need of new ideas to generate sustainable income? Award winning facilitator Kerri Tilby-Price is back in Kāpiti to assist you to develop more strategies to increase your organisations funding streams.

Wednesday 24 May 6:30pm – 8:30pm  Kapiti Council Chambers, 175 Rimu Road, Paraparaumu

Tips, tricks and tactics on accessing seven income streams all packed into a two hour workshop!

For those of you who missed Kerri’s last workshop last year, this two hour session is the condensed version of Kerri’s full day Sustainable Funding Workshop.  It is full of fantastic ideas and information, but is run at an extra-fast pace.  Just enough ideas to get you started, get you thinking and get you motivated for the next steps.

This express style workshop will give you loads of practical ideas that you can implement in your group or organisation straight away. We guarantee you  will leave with a whole host of things you can’t wait to get started on.

In this workshop you will discover:

  • The 7 key income streams for Community Groups. Are you using them all, and if so, how can you make them stronger?
  • The difference between donations, sponsorship and grants. What does it really take to secure all three? Are you approaching each one in the right way?
  • How to get more people helping with your fundraising efforts. Why is it the same people doing all the work, all the time?
  • Simple tips and tricks for raising more money, more often. How can you work smarter, not harder?

Thursday 25 May 9:00am – 3:00pm  Coast Community Church, 57 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu

A one day workshop for community organisations exploring how to develop business sponsorship for your organisation.

This is a one day workshop will give you the tools and strategies you need to develop an effective sponsorship plan, and will leave you feeling  re-energised in the process. Be prepared to re-think how you do sponsorship in your organisation.

In this workshop you will discover:

  • The difference between donations and sponsorship. Are you approaching sponsorship in the right way?
  • Where to find potential sponsors in your own community. Which businesses would make a great fit and how do you approach them?
  • What businesses are looking for in a sponsorship relationship. Is it really logos and thank you speeches or have you been missing the mark?
  • The true value of what you have to offer. How do you provide genuine sponsor benefits without ‘selling your soul’?
  • How a sponsor can actually add value to your programme or service? It’s not all about money or product.
  • The ins and outs of sponsorship proposals and contracts. How do you manage the process for the best chance of success?
  • The importance of developing a genuine relationship with existing sponsors and how you can do it well.

These workshops are being brought to you by the Kāpiti Coast District Council and Volunteer Kāpiti.
