Experience the world of Indigenous cinema in Ōtaki this March as the Māoriland Film Festival (MFF) returns for its fourth annual festival.
Māoriland Film Festival is an international indigenous film festival that celebrates indigenous voices and story telling in film. Over five days, the MFF will be showing feature films, short film programmes, documentary, workshops, kōrero and more from over 20 Indigenous nations spanning the Americas, Europe, Australia, the Middle East and the Pacific.
In 2017, the MFF also invites rangatahi (young people) from around Aotearoa to join us for the first annual Māoriland Rangatahi Film Festival - this festival, programmed by youth for youth runs from March 15 - 17 and will feature film screenings, filmmaking workshops for students, the annual E Tu Whānau Rangatahi Filmmaking Awards and more!
