Whether you're looking for accessible transport solutions, information on mobility permits, or tips on making the most of your SuperGold Card, this event has you covered. Enjoy expert presentations, a relaxed morning tea, and a guided bus tour of Paraparaumu with Metlink, all designed to help you stay connected and independent.

9.20am: My experience of visual impairment and getting about the community when you cannot drive – Sue Emirali
9.35am: Companion driving services – Margaret Gibbs, Driving Miss Daisy Waikanae/Ōtaki
9.45am: Mobility permits – Raewyn Hailes, CCS Disability Action
10am: Hearing support for safe travel – Katinka Proudfoot, Courtenay Hearing
10.15am: Morning tea and mix & mingle
10.30am: Mobility cards, Metlink, and Snapper cards – Jessie McKenzie & Melissa McDonald, GWRC
10.50am: NZ Police – Sergeant Doug McQuire, Wellington Road Policing
11.15am: Uzabus – Metlink bus service – Andy Pedersen, Uzabus Kāpiti Coast
11.25am – Closing remarks
11.45am – Metlink/Uzabus Gold Card Bus Tour of Paraparaumu and surrounds
12.30pm – Return to Kāpiti Coast District Council
