Standard drawings and approved materials

All extensions to Council's water and wastewater networks must be designed and constructed in accordance with Council's Subdivision and Development Principles and Requirements. These set out Council's technical requirements for the construction of land and asset developments, and should be read in tandem with Council's suite of standard drawings.

Standard drawings show the minimum standard Council has adopted for certain types of work, and have been developed for works involving water and wastewater. In time, standard drawings will be developed to cover other activities, in particular, stormwater and roads.

Note: Engineering or construction drawings presented to Council for approval must have Council's standard drawings embedded in or on them.
