Permanent – Part-time
28 hours per week – Wednesday to Sunday

This is a great opportunity to lead our passionate, dedicated weekend team in a community focused leadership position.
The Weekend Lead is responsible for overseeing the libraries across the district, ensuring smooth operations during the weekend hours. This role involves supervising staff, assisting the community, and maintaining a secure and welcoming environment.
You will need to
- be responsible for district wide Saturday and Sunday library operation.
- create a welcoming, inclusive space that delivers positive customer experiences.
Here are some other key things we are looking for:
- Exhibit behaviour which is consistent with understanding the Treaty of Waitangi and its application for the Council
- Employee management including performance development, recruitment, and training.
- Overseeing the delivery of high-quality service
