Next week is school holidays, so if you've got kids to entertain we can help! Check out what our pools, libraries, and our district's art gallery have organised.

There are plenty of opportunities to Have Your Say as we embrace the cooler weather, including how Kapiti's water services will be delivered in the future (get your feedback in by this Sunday 13 April), and how we manage freedom camping on the Coast (open until 2 May). Head online to have your say and to sign up for notifications for future consultations. 

Finally, the storm churning its way through the district last night and today is a timely reminder to make sure you and your whānau have an emergency plan and that your grab bags are well stocked and ready to go. You might want to start noting where rainfall collects as we’ll soon be asking for your feedback on our flood models.
