Kerbside recycling coming to Nikau Valley

Residents in Nikau Valley will soon be able to put their recycling out at the kerbside for collection.

Three operators - Waste Management, Envirowaste and Low Cost Bins - will start kerbside recycling services in December as follows.

• Waste Management is delivering blue crates to their wheelie-bin customers this week and will start collecting them on Wednesdays from 2 December. Waste Management customers with queries about blue crates or their collection should phone the Waste Management call centre on 0800 10 10 10.
• Envirowaste will deliver green crates to their own and Low Cost Bins’ wheelie-bin customers in the week starting 7 December. Collection will be on Wednesdays from 16 December. Envirowaste/Low Cost Bins customers who have queries about green crates or the collection service should call Envirowaste on 0800 438 224 or Low Cost Bins on 04 298 9333.

Pre-paid yellow and orange rubbish bag users should phone the Envirowaste call centre on 0800 438 224 to arrange for the delivery of a green crate.
