Mayor announces pay adjustment for Chief Executive

Mayor Ross Church confirms that Council has increased the Chief Executive’s remuneration, following the annual performance review process.
This takes account of factors such as Council’s obligations as a good employer, current remuneration, tenure in the role, performance and consideration of independent advice on appropriate remuneration levels.
Council’s Chief Executive Performance and Employment Committee met on 27 January and resolved to approve an increase of 2.09%, taking the Chief Executive’s annual remuneration to $300,430.
