Council's Regulatory Services Group Manager to retire
Kāpiti Coast District Council Group Manager Regulatory Services Kevin Currie has announced that he will be retiring at the end of October to focus his attention on his family and on enjoying the Kāpiti Coast lifestyle.
Mr Currie has been with the Council for 2½ years and under his leadership the Council’s regulatory function has gone from strength to strength.
Chief Executive Pat Dougherty says Mr Currie has built a strong open for business culture within the Council’s Regulatory Services Group and should be very proud of his achievements.
“He has successfully overseen the Council’s monitoring and compliance activity to support the delivery of Transmission Gully and the Mackays to Peka Peka and Peka to Ōtaki expressways and has introduced a number of business improvements,” Mr Dougherty said.
The process of recruiting a new group manager will begin within the next few weeks.
