BUILDING CONSENTS CAN NOW BE LODGED ONLINE AT KĀPITI COAST DISTRICT COUNCIL

Applying for building consents just got a whole lot easier for Kāpiti Coast residents thanks to a new online portal called Simpli.

 The online service is designed for the simple and convenient lodging of building consent applications.

 Regulatory Services Group Manager Natasha Tod says the new consents online application platform should help to streamline and clarify the process for applicants.

 “We’re excited to be launching something that will make the building consents process a bit easier for our customers. Now, consents can be lodged at any hour of the day, regardless if the Council offices are open or not, making it more convenient for community to get their needs met when it’s best for them.”

 The service is part of Simpli, an initiative involving more than 20 councils from the Western Bay of Plenty to Nelson, aims to improve the existing building consents process.
