New Group Managers appointed to vacant positions
The Kāpiti Coast District Council has announced the successful candidates for three vacant group manager positions, who’ll take up their roles in the New Year.
Chief Executive Wayne Maxwell says he’s delighted to be welcoming the three successful candidates to their new positions, which includes a combination of familiar and fresh faces.
“From late January, Janice McDougall will take up the role of Group Manager People and Partnerships. Janice has been Acting Group Manager Corporate Services since January 2018. This appointment reflects the strong pool of talent that currently exists within Council.”
“Mark de Haast will return to Council to take up the role of Group Manager Corporate Services in early February, following on from his recent time at Hutt City Council.”
“A new face, James Jefferson, will take up the role of Group Manager Place and Space in late January. James is currently employed with another council as General Manager, Policy, Planning and Regulatory Services, a role he has held since early 2016. James previously worked with the Ministry of Justice, Auckland Council, Franklin District Council and Tauranga City Council in a range of general management positions.”
“Having the right people in these roles is crucial to successfully delivering services for our customers and community and I have every confidence that our new group managers will help our Council and our District go from strength to strength in 2019.”
