Urgent closure of the on and off ramps at Mackays Crossing

The on and off ramps at Mackays Crossing, south of Raumati, on State Highway 1 will be closed overnight tonight and tomorrow night for emergency repairs

• Wednesday 25 September and Thursday 26 September
• CLOSED 9pm – 5am

For residents this means access to SH1 will be via Valley Road and Ruapehu Street between 9pm and 5am tonight and tomorrow night.

If there’s an emergency in Emerald Glen we will provide access for emergency services who have all been notified of the closure.
