Dog registration renewal form
If you've owned a dog before and had an online dog account, you can register your dog through your online services account.

Register a dog for the first time
All dogs must be registered before they’re three months old. If you don't register your dog you could be fined and your dog seized and impounded.

Permit to keep more than two dogs
You need a permit to keep more than two dogs on your property, even if you don't own all of them.

Approved dog owner
Apply to for approved dog owner status by 1 May to lower your annual fees for the next dog registration year, commencing 1 July.

Dog's death and request a registration fee refund application
If your dog has died or been put down, you may be eligible to have part of your registration fee refunded.

Transfer of dog ownership application
Notify Council if ownership of a dog registered in the district is transferred to a different owner.

Pay an animal fine
If you get a dog fine you have 60 days to pay, unless you write to us to appeal it. If you haven't paid or written to us by then, the fine will enter a legal enforcement process.

Change in a registered dog notification
Notify Council if the details of a registered dog have changed, for example if it is desexed. You'll need to provide either the declaration form below or a Vet declaration form.
