Our local museums and heritage sites are fascinating places to visit. Following our heritage trail from Ōtaki in the north to Paekākāriki in the south, you'll discover sites that played a major role in the cultural, economic and social growth of Aotearoa New Zealand, some of it predating the 1820s.
