Te Horo Beach mural
This colourful mural covers all four walls of the wharepaku block at Sea Road, Te Horo Beach.
The Waikanae Community Board and the Friends of Te Horo Beach Residents Association commissioned the mural as part of a major upgrade of the toilets. It was paid for by Council's Public Art fund and Waikanae Community Board.
The artists, Swiftmantis and Sean Duffell, are well-known as street artists across Aotearoa New Zealand.

They created the mural early in 2024, using ideas and feedback from the community.
