Jeep Road Reserve
Jeep Road Reserve is home to the MOA Community Orchard, a vibrant community project in Raumati South. Supported by the Raumati South Residents Association and the Kāpiti Coast District Council, this orchard is a place where locals come together to grow and maintain a variety of fruit trees. It’s a wonderful spot to visit, whether you're interested in gardening, supporting local initiatives, or simply enjoying the fruits of the community’s labour. The orchard is maintained through regular working bees, and visitors are welcome to sample the fruit, though it's encouraged to leave enough for others to enjoy as well.
Why it's special
A community-focused space for all
What makes Jeep Road Reserve special is its connection to the local community. Maintained by volunteers, the orchard provides a shared space where locals can come together to grow, nurture, and harvest produce. Whether you're visiting to sample some fruit, lend a hand during a working bee, or simply appreciate the community effort, Jeep Road Reserve offers a unique opportunity to be part of something meaningful. Please email the Residents Association if you would like to help!
