Te Pare o Mātangi Reserve

This lovely reserve is close to the shops on the Ōtaki old main highway, and a great spot to break your journey or just spend some time in a peaceful spot. The reserve was handed back to Council on the opening of the Peka Peka to Ōtaki Expressway in 2023.

The reserve has a cycle- and walkway running though it, and a great spot to look at some eels.
