The Cattlestops
St Peters Village Hall, Paekākāriki, Kapiti Coast

After a whirlwind season of '20 years of Cattlestoppin' gigs in late 2024, Kapiti country-rockers the Cattlestops return to the scene of the crime, or at least the inception of the band, in Paekakariki in 2004. Fiddle player Colleen Trenwith was gently coerced into joining Jimmy Ray Cameron (bass), Dave 'Dogs' Berry - guitar, Andrew 'Lucky' London (guitar) and Donny Ruckus (Even Williams - drums) into starting a country band. They recorded three albums of songs mostly written by Andrew and James, and stopped cattle around the country and even abroad at a Norfolk Island Country Music festival. lining up alongside the Topp Twins, Eddie Low and Brendan Dugan. Lineup for this gig will be:
