Water rates invoices
Understand how to read your water invoice, and the information included on it.
On the front, water invoices have the:
- ratepayer's name
- address
- property location (as a check)
- valuation number
- legal description.
On the reverse side of the invoice is the:
- meter number
- amount and cost of water your household has used over the last metering period (generally every three months (at the top))
- the fixed charges for the invoice period.
If the closing meter reading shown on the back of your invoice doesn't correspond with the current reading on your meter, check the meter number on your invoice is the same as the number on your meter.
You can pay by direct debit, automatic payment, internet or telephone banking – see Payments for more information.
If you have concerns about your invoice, for example, you think your invoice is higher than usual or you have a leak, email us at [email protected], or call us.
