Stormwater

Stormwater is the run-off from rainfall, which travels along natural and artificial pathways to the sea and other natural waterways.

We provide a stormwater system to manage water run-off from Kāpiti's urban catchments, while protecting the receiving environment, ensuring water quality and reducing risks to human life, health and property from flooding. We carry out a range of activities on a daily basis to keep our network in good condition, and there are things you can do to help too.
