Alcohol licences
The Kāpiti Coast District Council administers the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and has appointed the Kāpiti Coast District Licensing Committee (DLC) to consider and determine applications for new and renewal of licences and managers' certificates, temporary authority orders, and special licences.
Under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, anyone who wants to sell or supply alcohol must have a current alcohol licence. Applications for licences and certificates are processed by the Licensing Team at Council. We work to raise awareness of the statutory requirements and help you navigate the process.
