Making an airport noise complaint
Airport noise levels are prescribed in the District Plan and airport users are familiar with those rules.
The most important thing in making any complaint about noisy aircraft, is to do it promptly and to have available the time of the incident and a description.
All complaints regarding noise generated from the Kāpiti Coast Airport or airport activities can be made by either:
- telephoning the 24/7 phone service on 021 922 787 and providing the operator with the information required
- downloading a complaint form from the airport website and following the instructions outlined on their website.
The complaint should include as much information as possible to help the investigation and then documentation and findings regarding the complaints will be reviewed by the Community Liaison Group.
