Parking

As Kāpiti grows, parking demand is increasing in many areas. This stresses current parking, so we need to plan well for enough parking spaces and manage congestion. Parking restrictions help us do this.  Our Transport Bylaw 2022 sets the rules for parking and other traffic in our district. The Ministry of Transport decides the costs of infringements (parking fines).
